Saving a mailbox


Hello:

I am not in a very good shape to figure this out myself, so I am asking
you guys and gals. Reason:  I have worked since October 2009 to organize
a conference. It was held this weekend, and I am TIRED!

So, I would appreciate your help to save the folder structure (with all
messages in folders) for the mailbox I used for the conference. I want
to save it in Windows Explorer as one or more files that can be imported
back into Becky if needed.

One specific question: would "File ... Save As" work?

If the objective is to backup that folder, then simply navigate
through the Becky's data folder, locate the conference's folder and
copy it, or compact it.

Another way, if it has no sub-folders, would be export the whole
folder to mbox format. Both options are "reversible" using Becky (the
mbox format is read by many e-mail clients, which excludes, of course,
MSOE :P )

Becky under Parallels

I have a question for users running Becky under Parallels, provided they actually exist in this forum.
My Becky is running smoothly with the exception that when I set it to save attachments in separate folders,
although these are created they remain completely empty and then - quite obviously - when I click on the
attachment icon in the message Becky says that such attachment doesn't exist in that location. Another
similar issue I'm having is with Cliche Inserter.
I'm not sure whether these issues are caused by using Becky under Parallels or by a particular setting I am
not aware of.

Are other experiencing the same problems?

Doubles


Is anyone else getting doubles of messages (only a few) after installing
the latest Becky?

It is not Yahoo or the other usual suspects this time. If it is not
Becky, it is my IS.

POP3 or IMAP? I sure hope it isn't GMail. They are notorious for
screwing up mail systems with their proprietary mail protocol.

Just for grins, are the message IDs identical? It is possible that the
sending MUA is duplicating messages. I have seen it happen before,

Using POP3

I have gotten these before when Becky! breaks the connection to the
email server, either intentionally or through a crash.  The messages do
not get deleted on the email server and are downloaded a second time.

I suppose this could also occur if leave messages on server is selected.
