Sync with potable media

I am doing last minutes updates to my laptop (till now, a very expensive paper
weight), and I just wanted to get a quick confirmation that when I come back
home with my laptop full of e-mails (that were then not downloaded to my desktop),
I can transfer the laptop Becky messages to my desktop (I do not need to, or
want to, transfer the other way, if possible).

How do you sync? Both computers connected to my local network? Or a direct line
between them? Or ...?

Thank you for your help!

[ESC]Key Focus move Plugin cann't work, anywhere for new version? thanks

Hi,

i installed from the following URL.
http://www1.kcn.ne.jp/~ufbmf001/b2pin.html

however, it cann't work.

(makes it possible to use the ESC-key to jump between the three panes in Becky. It is a good replacement for
jumping with the TAB-key as this will take you through a lot of unneeded stations on your way. No
configuration needed)

BTW, whether any other add-ones to instead?

I don't think it is an easy task to sync becky's mails between two
computers.

You should instead store messages in a _portable_ media, as an USB key
(or a compact-flash card, as I do). The "synchro with a portable media"
is designed to work this way.

If you have already messages in your laptop, and have the same mailboxes
and folders structures than on your desktop, I think the best way would
be to create a portable media from your desktop (in order to create the
main directories structure plus a few synchro related files), copy the
contents of each laptop's mailbox in the corresponding .bmf folder of
the key (as the synchro is probably based on the "cryptic" .bmf's name
and your laptop has not the same name for each email account), then
use the synchro feature from your desktop.
Make sure that when you create the portable media, you unchecked all
"Overwrite" options of the "To Go option" dialog. Instead of that, you
may lose some of your desktop settings when you will make the synchro.
