Error message


From time to time now (I think when a message with an atttachment is dowloaded),
the following error message pops up:

C:\Documents and Settings\[MY NAME]\Local Settings\Temp\B2Temp\Attach refers to
a location that is unavailable. It could be on a hard drive on this computer, or
on a network. Check to make sure that the disk is properly inserted, or that you
are connected to the Internet or your network, and then try again. If it still
cannot be located, the information might have been moved to a different location.

What I have is this:

C:\Documents and Settings\[MY NAME]\Local Settings\Temp\B2Temp\tmp

What has gone wrong.  What should I do?

Re: Error message

When I open the attached file, the following folder was created with the
attachment in it:

 C:\Documents and Settings\[MY NAME]\Local Settings\Temp\B2Temp\Attach

I am still confused (to no surprise of Michael).

Hello,

This message inform you, that you view now other message in Becky!

Look here:
a) you have message with attachment and you click on this attachment to
view it
b) when you think, that attachment will opened you view NEXT message in
Becky
c) in temporary folder now no you attachment from previous message
(because folder "Attach" exist only for messages with attachments)
...and...
d) you have a message with error.

Other case:
Your antivirus aplication want check your attachment and (when you view
other message) this message appears.

Maciej, I have read your message carefully, and I will make some checks.

But would you have any explanation to why this message has started to show just
recently (after one of the updates)?

I think I will ask Carty about it too.

Becky! 2.45.02 released

Ver.2.45.01 -> Ver.2.45.02 (2008/03/03)
- "Send Now" is now processed on the same queue as the regular "Send and
  Receive". That made possible to choose "Send Now" command while
  "Collection and Delivery" session is in process.
- "General Setup" > "Message View" > "(text/html) as attachment" option,
  which disables the feature that double clicking "(text/html)" opens IE
  component, is added

- BUGFIX: When replying a HTML message that has a backgound image, the
  background image could not replaced in HTML editor of Becky!.
- BUGFIX: "UNICODE" font option for "Default" charset was not saved in
  "General Setup" > "Languages".
- BUGFIX: When "General Setup" > "General" > "Startup Password" was
  checked and did not specify a password, "Startup Password" checkbox
  remained checked.
- BUGFIX: When long line was pasted in the Compose window, the text
  scrolled off the top of the view while scroll bar is not shown.

my brother said that there is a plug-in that allow you to download
your yahoo mail using becky does any know its name? its free and do
you have to pay yahoo?

YPOPs! is an application that provides POP3 and SMTP access to Yahoo! Mail.

How do we do it you ask? Well, this application is more like a gateway. It provides a POP3 server interface at
one end to talk to email clients and an HTTP client (browser) interface at the other which allows it to
talk to Yahoo! The same concept holds good for SMTP as well.

Sender field

What is the purpose of the sender field?  And why does it appear in 
the header?  Is it supposed to represent the smtp account?  If it is, 
that would be transparent to me since I use one smtp user for all my 
accounts.  If it is not, I'm clueless (which would not be the first 
time).
