Becky v2.40 released

Ver.2.31.00 -> Ver.2.40.00 (2007/10/03)
- The development environment is migrated from VC++6.0 to VS2005, and since
  Date/Time library is updated, potential year2038 problem should be
  solved.
- "From All Mailboxes" option is added to "Query" dialog. If it is
  turned on, all the folders in all the mailboxes will be searched after
  searching the current folder is finished.
- "ProcessMail()" API is added. It allows plug-in to process certain
  filtering command on a specified message item.
- After deleting duplicate messages, a message box will pop up showing
  statistics.

- BUGFIX: Turning on and off "View Source" on a message with attachments
  caused abnormal termination.
- BUGFIX: Auto disconnecting from dialup connection did not work well on
  Vista.
- BUGFIX: SSL/TLS connection failed on some mail servers.
- BUGFIX: Re-editing caused some 8bit character subject incorrectly
  modified in some occasions.

I believe this fixes Becky's GMail POP3 over SSL server connection
issues.  I don't use my GMail accounts much but, before this version, I
could get Becky to connect maybe one in twenty tries.  With this version,
Becky connects as she should.  Anybody else care to test this out?

Wow, Carty is fast!

I posted about the 2.40 version that I had just been told was on the
site.  I downloaded it and that's the version I had.  Jody posts and I
see he has v2.40.01.  That can't be right but it is.  2.40 really was
the version I downloaded.  Not to soon after that a different version
was put up.

As of this moment the read file still only has 2.40.

- BUGFIX: The program abnormally terminated when Reminder contains
  messages that are not generated by Reminder function.
- BUGFIX: When "From All Mailboxes" option in Query dialog is on and root
  mailbox icon is selected in the tree view, The selected mailbox was
  not searched.
- BUGFIX: The program abnormally terminated when the system menu was
  clicked in Windows9x OS.
- BUGFIX: Printing by specifying pages did not work.
new bugfix version has been released now.

Glad to see a new version out

I was worried for a while because the updates had been more frequent a year or
so ago.
But what a fantastic email client Becky is -- every day I discover new hidden features which show a great deal
of care and attention.  Tonight for example I right-clicked on the "Forward" button and discovered it
gives you the option to
"Redirect" as well.  I've tried so, so many mail clients, and at the beginning
it took me some time to get used to Becky, but now I appreciate how great this
program is, and if the developer is listening, I hope he understands how
important this great mail client is, and keeps up the good work.  Goodnight!

The problems are always the details...
...and beta-testing is not a full-code-proove of source. *g*

You won't get any of the bugs of .1 'normally', they are generated 
by some circumstances. The .2 is a shit-happens-fix.

I am more satisfied by the updates - bugs got fixed, new features
included. I like Becky!...
