Last version of MCL

I have been working for many years with MCL and I'd like to know how one
can buy the last version of MCL hopefully running on OS X 10.4.xx. Mails
to Digitool are bouncing back. Is Digitool dead?

Re: Info-mcl Digest, Vol 28, Issue 2

We've also been hunting for information about Digitool's plans for
dealing with the Intel machines. All of our apps run in MCL and rely
on its TCP code. For developing those apps, our entire group use
laptops exclusively, and since Apple doesn't sell the ppc laptops
anymore, we're in some serious trouble if any of those laptops die.

Re: Info-mcl Digest, Vol 28, Issue 2

Digitool is not good at keeping their web site or mail servers
running but it does seem to have any bearing on the overall status of
the company.

copy-bits

Does anybody knows why the following code:
(require :Quickdraw)

(defclass my-window (window)
   ((color :initform (user-pick-color)
           :reader get-color)))

(defmethod view-draw-contents ((w my-window))
   (call-next-method)
   (with-fore-color (get-color w)
     (paint-rect w 0 (view-size w))))

(defmethod copy-w ((w-1 my-window) (w-2 my-window))
   (let ((wptr-1 (wptr w-1))
         (wptr-2 (wptr w-2)))
     (rlet ((rect-1 :rect)
            (rect-2 :rect))
       (#_getwindowportbounds wptr-1 rect-1)
       (#_getwindowportbounds wptr-2 rect-2)
       (with-macptrs ((bits-1 (#_getportbitmapforcopybits
(#_getwindowport wptr-1)))
                      (bits-2 (#_getportbitmapforcopybits
(#_getwindowport wptr-2))))
         (copy-bits bits-1 bits-2 rect-1 rect-2)))))

instead of copying contents of window-1 to window-2 (as usually copy-
bits does) copy contents of window one to the topleft corner of main
screen, resized according to window 2.

Thanks
