Search feature

Hi,

As our site is starting to grow, I think we should add a search
feature.

The path of least resistance would be to add a google search option
somewhere, as explained here:

http://www.google.com/searchcode.html#both

Objections? Should we do that on a separate page?

Regards,
        Mario

By popular demand: nntp.common-lisp.net

I set up INN2 on nntp.common-lisp.net. All mailinglists are mirrored
with the newsgroups and viceversa (any posts to either are seen on
both). This should make NNTP fans (like me) happier. Any reason not to
go ahead and announce this on <http://common-lisp.net/>?

Erik.

Sounds like a fine idea to me. I'd like it to be a small little input
field somewhere on each page but whatever is fine.

I really want to set up paserver+postgresql+cmucl/sbcl and move the
entire site over to it. Then we could group the projects and list
total-number-of-projects and total-number-of-members etc. Neat stuff.

Very nice!

Ok by me. The current FTP status (conjob the bandaid -- if it's still
true) might be good to mention too.

BTW, looking at Eclipse i noticed that we seem to have SSI
enabled. Nice. ;) This might be good to worth mentioning as well (if
it's globally available).

Cheers,

Neither objections nor great visions. I'd say do it and ignore my
bitching afterwards. ;)

Cheers,

I don't know if that is possible with this setting. It is free, but
subject to some conditions. The logo has to appear, as well as the
option to search all the web, etc. Other than that, I did not find
anything that troubled me.

Indeed! Maybe then we can add some small neat search input field to
every page.

        Mario.

It is globally available. I'll add some info about these things on the
website.
