module regexp doesn't build on Jaguar

Fails linking lisp.run because it can't find a function/symbol:
_check_fpointer.
A grep through the sources finds an extern for it in clisp.h (via
genclisph.d I presume). Where is the definition supposed to come from?
Is it a libc issue?
(Due to network issues I haven't been able to test on RedHat or
YellowDog yet).

check_fpointer() is defined in foreign.d.
I will move check_fpointer() to error.d
thanks for catching this error!

anonCVS stale?

Has anyone gotten (via anonCVS) any of Sam's changes over the past
two/three days?
I've had trouble getting through to the server, but when I have,
nothing has been updated for at least 2 days, I think maybe 3, but I'm
not sure. Just wondered if the 2.31 release has/had interrupted the
HEAD distribution, or if ....?
Thanks,
	<D\'gou

P.S. 2.31 is out!!! YAY!!!!!!!

Here you are in a section of code (EXECUTABLE_VIA_MMAP_ANONYMOUS) that is
meant for AIX. AIX has MAP_VARIABLE. The question is: Why is
HAVE_WORKING_MPROTECT not defined on your system? mprotect() works on
Linux since 1.1.67 or so. Does the config.log in the
ffcall/callback/trampoline_r/ directory give a hint (look for
"checking for working mprotect" there)?

Here is that section of config.log:

Ouch. Why are RETMALLOCTYPE and MALLOC_SIZE_T not defined at this point?
configure.in explicitly invokes CL_MALLOC, and CL_CODEEXEC also requires it.
