Floating point exception: top -d0

Hi,
According to the "top" man page on RedHat 7.2, this is the e-mail to
post bug reports for "top". So here goes.
On my newly installed RedHat 7.2 system, if I type top -d0 I get
this error message (my emphasis in bold):
12:33am up 9 min, 1 user, load average: 0.40, 0.36, 0.15
50 processes: 48 sleeping, 2 running, 0 zombie, 0 stopped
Floating point exception 1.6% system, 0.2% nice, 97.3% idle
Essentially it just dumps out there. Interestingly enough, if I run it
with strace or ltrace, the problem disappears.
This is using the procps-2.0.7-11 package on RedHat 7.2, with
RPM updates to glibc, the kernel, and a few other things, all from the
official RedHat update site. The hardware is a Dell PowerEdge 600SC,
which contains an Intel Pentium 4.
I will be happy to provide further information upon request. Thank you
for reading this.
