[Bug 260571] Re: Poldek dies: Assertion '!i3_is_marked(ictx, pkg)'

There are two different bugs here.

The 1st symptom had a rpmlib error message.

The 2nd symptom is an assert failure in poldek that exited, leading
to the stale lock cleanup in the next rpm invocation that looks like:
Freeing read locks for locker 0x14f9: 7102/3069777696
    ...

AFAICT (I don't know much about poldek code), the assert is
intended to ensure the pre-conditions for the retry: i.e. that
a package being retried was not already installed.

One of the very first things to do is
   rpm --rebuilddb
to clean up side effects in the rpmdb store. Lots of problems
have a root cause that the data is inconsistent somehow.

[Bug 678340] [NEW] X dependencies in mpd

Public bug reported:

mpd is a server app. But depends on ffmpeg, which depends on some X parts. Uninstalling *nvidia* has removed
mpd from my machine.
I'mm not sure if this is only one bad dependency.

[Bug 678342] [NEW] searching packages in launchpad

Public bug reported:

I tried to report a bug in mpd. I typed mpd in "In what package did you find this bug?" field.
The result was:

"mpd" does not exist in PLD Linux. Please choose a different package. If
you're unsure, please select "I don't know"

When I chose mpd after clicking "choose", the effect was the same.

I know, that it's not a problem with pld, but "searching machine" is for
pld.

Status in “flashplugin-nonfree” package in Ubuntu: Expired
Status in PLD Linux Distribution: Won't Fix

Bug description:
After some random time from starting Firefox it is no longer able to play flash sounds correctly. For
example trying to watch a YouTube movie results in the video pausing a second or so into the playback. After
about half a minute the video resumes and a stuttering sound appears (sound buffer looping over the first
second or so of actual soundtrack). Scrolling controls work fine and the interface is responsive.
Stuttering sound continues through the whole movie occasionally changing to some random 1-second
sample of the soundtrack.

OSS is not loaded. Neither esound nor pulseaudio daemons are installed or active.

During the hang other applications have no problems playing the audio so the device is not locked. Even
aplay works.

[Bug 678340] Re: X dependencies in mpd

ffmpeg is not modular at runtime, it's dependencies are all runtime
(except faac, which sadly is soon to be dropped)

it is not at least installing X11 *server*.

for reference, could you post dependency tree generated by removing the xorg or nvidia library you did not want:
poldek -e <somelib>
