Failed to take backup using mondo

Hi,
I am trying to take OS backup on my RHEL3 server using mondo...but it exits with some error:
[Main] newt-specific.c->fatal_error#308: Fatal error received - 'Failed to generate boot+data disks'
.......
i have enough free space on the mount points....

[root <at> server1 root]# uname -a
Linux server1.example.com 2.4.21-47.0.1.ELsmp #1 SMP F ri Oct 13 17:56:20 EDT 2006 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux


[root <at> server1 root]# cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 3 (Taroon Update 8)

server model: HP DL580 G5
