The only thing I've used CD 3 for is the slackbook directory on it. You

[LBo] Slackware 9.1

Hi List,

I am downloading slackware 9.1 using bittorrent right now.
Since the download-rate is so slow, I was wondering if I need all 4 CDs.

CD1 and CD2 are here on my Harddrive.
Will I ever need 3&4 or is it just wasted time and bandwidth?

Thanks,

Stefan

Pick a name you can live with
use /nick <newname>
if it isn't registered....

/msg nickserv help register gets you this:

>nickserv< help register
-NickServ- Syntax: REGISTER <password>

-NickServ- This enables you to register your nickname with a

[LBo] How to register a IRC-Nick

Hi list,

when on IRC, the server sais that my preferred nick 'stw' is registered
and I should authenticate myself.

Well, bad thing is I am not the one who registered it :(

Q: How do I 'register' a nick so it is mine?

Stefan

PS: No, I did not do ANY research on this at all. So a link to the
IRC-HowTo would be greatly apprecated :)
