Description of problem: The Live DVD boot correctly (I can see the Plymouth)
but, when Mandriva starts and will show the configuration dialogs, the screen
turns off.
The laptop have a button to turn on/off the screen, but in this time doesn't 
work.

The command "nokmsboot" doesn't work, and with the "nomodeset" there are 
somme problems.

The notebook and the hardware: Acer Aspire 5736z RR; processor Intel Pentium
T4500; Intel graphics GMA 4500MHD.

Sorry, for late, but the problem was saned after kernel release 2.6.38. Kernels
.36 and earlier doesnt work properly.

Hi

The problem is more serious than thought.

The consoles never start even in graphic mode.
Ctrl+ALT+F2 to Ctrl+ALT+F7 show only cursor, instead CTRL+ALT+F1 show some
message.
The last one is: 
"Started LSB: Adaptive readahead daemon..."

Hi

No the disconnect,reboot,shutdown problem is due to the sphere-client-rosa.

Kill the process and remove the package, after all work properly.
