burnt media 10 minutes after burn.
md5sum checks ok just after burn.

[Bug 62005] KDED4 eating up major CPU % on fresh start

Gateway 4300 (RS780 mobo, Radeon 3200 graphics, dual-core Athlon 64-bit).
Fresh install of 2011 Alpha 2.

kded4 saturated on core of cpu. knotify likewise soakin up cpu cycles (35-40
percent of one core). I would be logged out without warning or apparent reason
within seconds to maybe a minute.

After a fresh install of 2011 Alpha 1, both cores maxed out, with multiple
instances of kdeinit4 the principal culprit. Killing individual instances of
kde4init did nothing useful, and using pkill against all kde processes dropped
cpu load to 100 percent of one core due to knotify.

With Alpha 1, clicking on any configuration icon would usually result in a
logout. Clementine would start up from a command line and play if a song was
clicked on, but attempts to start it from a menu would fail and clicking on the
> button to play would blow it away.

For a time, I though high cpu load was causing heat problems, but with the
fresh install of Alpha 2 logout was occurring before there was time for cpu
overheating to become a problem.
