And this is a very bad idea.

I don't know what we should do, but we should really provide backward
compatibility to NFS users. I guess that we don't want to break most NFS setup.

Last but not least, I can't imagine the consequences as on top of that idmapd
need to be correctly configure ...
Last but not least, NFSv4 have broken/partial ACL POSIX support ( no default
ACL entries support )

1.User drag-and-drop file from Dolphin to desktop
2.Choose "Create link" from menu
3.Now KDE creates soft link in "Desktop" folder, but it will be more convenient
create "*.desktop" file by default (like Windows creates *.lnk). This feature
should be applied to "Desktop" folder only.

That would be too complicated, as the mimetype and the application to open that
file will have to be set in the .desktop file...

Anyway, you should file this enhancement wish upstream at https://bugs.kde.org/

Considering the support of .kdbx, you would better asking keepassx itself.
There is not nothing we distros can do.

Description of problem: I mean guys I really need this one; I've been using a common database for Windows and
Linux and it's just not possible anymore since I upgraded to 2.0 in Windows and of course the old 0.41 rpm,
corresponding more or less with the 1x series in Windows, isn't compatible with the new database format
(kdbx, and not kdb anymore) from 2.0. I mean this is an urgent request, 'cause I find it too messy to maintain
two databases at the same time. thanks.
