Your Bugzilla bug list needs attention.

[This e-mail has been automatically generated.]

You have one or more bugs assigned to you in the Bugzilla bug tracking system (https://qa.mandriva.com/)
that require
attention.

All of these bugs are in the NEW orREOPENED state, and have not been
touched in 30 days or more.
You need to take a look at them, and decide on an initial action.

Generally, this means one of three things:

(1) You decide this bug is really quick to deal with (like, it's INVALID),
and so you get rid of it immediately.
(2) You decide the bug doesn't belong to you, and you reassign it to
someone else. (Hint: if you don't know who to reassign it to, make
sure that the Component field seems reasonable, and then use the
"Reassign bug to default assignee of selected component" option.)
(3) You decide the bug belongs to you, but you can't solve it this moment.
Just use the "Accept bug" command.

To get a list of all NEW/REOPENED bugs, you can use this URL (bookmark
it if you like!):
https://qa.mandriva.com/buglist.cgi?bug_status=NEW&bug_status=REOPENED&assigned_to=newpackage <at> mandrivalinux.org

Or, you can use the general query page, at
https://qa.mandriva.com/query.cgi

Appended below are the individual URLs to get to all of your NEW bugs
that haven't been touched for 30 days or more.

I am not sure. It could be.
But I noticed, rpm -q --list cups-common gives file /etc/cups/client.conf
but there is no such file.
I re-installed cups-common and it is just not there.

The key issue, you're installing a 2009.1 package on cooker? or are you running
2009.1?

If you're running 2009.1 then try:
urpmi.update --force-key -av

Pacho,

I agree. It is an upstream problem. I have reported it here,
<https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=212603>.

Ahmad,

It looks like I got a 2009.1 packaged into my cooker system while I was moving
RPMs about on a USB stick. :-( It is not surprising that it failed the check
sig.

Sorry for the confusion. My fault.

I close this report.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Original Bug Text:

fully loud intro sound can cause lot of irritation.
sound applet volume control do not adjust notify sound loudness, which can be adjusted only in
systemsettings (maybe in pavucontrol too).

btw pulseaudio should remember volumes as pcm slider positions, not master volume, which should be only
under user's manual control, or introduce master loudness profiles eg.
music/work/game/talk/silence. notify sounds should be treated independently - easy adjustable
reasonable defaults, and only muted with silence profile, or user decide about mute/volume separately
for notify sounds and other sources for each profile. that is only rough ideas, but surely mute is not
sufficient solution.
