[Bug 1177] opensuse 10 missing symbols in gdk-x11

------- Additional Comments From rajesh.banginwar <at> intel.com 2006-01-30 15:38 -------
There were more symbols *libgtk_only. All these symbols are now removed.

These are "hidden" symbols and hence should not be in LSB.

Your Bugzilla buglist needs attention.

[This e-mail has been automatically generated.]

You have one or more bugs assigned to you in the Bugzilla
bugsystem (http://bugs.linuxbase.org/) that require
attention.

All of these bugs are in the NEW state, and have not been touched
in 7 days or more. You need to take a look at them, and
decide on an initial action.

Generally, this means one of three things:

(1) You decide this bug is really quick to deal with (like, it's INVALID),
and so you get rid of it immediately.
(2) You decide the bug doesn't belong to you, and you reassign it to someone
else. (Hint: if you don't know who to reassign it to, make sure that
the Component field seems reasonable, and then use the "Reassign bug to
    owner of selected component" option.)
(3) You decide the bug belongs to you, but you can't solve it this moment.
Just use the "Accept bug" command.

To get a list of all NEW bugs, you can use this URL (bookmark it if you
like!):

http://bugs.linuxbase.org/buglist.cgi?bug_status=NEW&assigned_to=lsb-test <at> freestandards.org

Or, you can use the general query page, at
http://bugs.linuxbase.org/query.cgi.

[Bug 1182] New: libchk is checking for all Excluded interfaces

OtherBugsDependingO 1080
             nThis:

mkfunclist script includes all excluded interfaces and hence libchk ends up
checking for those.

there is another script mkfunclist2 which does exclude these interfaces and
mainly used for comparing (thr make check) the results with mkfunclist. make
check will basically list all excluded interfaces (diff between these two
scripts outputs).

Not sure why this was done this way.. it looks like libchk is intentionly
checking for excluded interfaces

[Bug 1177] opensuse 10 missing symbols in gdk-x11

------- Additional Comments From mats <at> freestandards.org 2006-01-26 21:46 -------
I guess we might reword the summary a little, we seem to be implying this is a
SuSE bug. That remains to be determined - it might be we're including too much
to meet our "existing best practice" goals.
