[Bug 1183] fix non-virtual thunks in database

------- Additional Comments From mats <at> freestandards.org 2006-01-30 20:33 -------
We have 12 _Zthn interfaces, but no _Zthn% interfaces - if that pattern doesn't
mean something special to mysql, then it won't match any. As I recall, this
was an area we thought was probably incomplete (virtual thunks are on my list
of notes from talking with Stuart) but it seems we didn't have examples of them.

Is this query going to update stdc++ interfaces? Is that the intention? Or is
the query specific to Qt libraries only

[Bug 1183] New: fix non-virtual thunks in database

non-virtual thunks are compiler-generated functions, but some are listed as
'Data' in the database, leading to warnings when generating stub libraries. The
following SQL command fixes this, please apply to the master database:

update Interface set Itype = 'Function' where Iname like '_ZThn%'

------- Additional Comments From todd.fujinaka <at> intel.com 2006-01-24 19:21 -------
My mistake. It's linking against the system headers and libs instead of LSB.

The configure script requires xml2-config, a script in /usr/bin. I can either
edit the script and put it in /opt/lsb/bin, or I can use patch to stick it into
the build directory and then chmod it with nALFS. I am told that the former is
preferred.

Any comments?

[Bug 1171] New: xmlGenericError and xmlGenericErrorContext not in DB

When running lsbappchk against the rapper binary from raptor it reports the
following errors:

lsbappchk -T desktop -L /opt/lsb/appbat/lib/libraptor.so.1
/opt/lsb/appbat/bin/rapper
Adding symbols for library /opt/lsb/appbat/lib/libraptor.so.1
Symbol xmlGenericError used, but not part of LSB_All_Modules
Symbol xmlGenericErrorContext used, but not part of LSB_All_Modules
Checking binary /opt/lsb/appbat/bin/rapper

The two symbols being reported as missing are in the DB as the double underbar
version (ie. __xmlGenericError), but not as this plain version. There are
several other symbols in the DB for xml2 that are only there with the double
underbar version of the symbol.

[Bug 1170] New: Initial Process Stack (fig 8-1) is empty

LSB-Core-PPC32 has one missing figure: fig 8-1 is empty.

This looks like a issue for ISO submission.

RE: [Lsb-desktop] fontconfig commands

I think these commands are used during application installation also
(font installation, cache update etc.). If that is the case, LSB should
include them as it intends to cover install time requirements in
addition to runtime.

Thanks,

-Rajesh
