LIDS with Linux 2.6.17

Hello,

i must update my Linux-Server to Kernel 2.6.17. Is it
possible to use LIDS with this Kernel?

Hi, Ulrich,

On my environment, LIDS-2.2.2 for 2.6.14 is working with 2.6.17.1 kernel.
For working LIDS with 2.6.17 correctly, you need to 
unselect "CONFIG_AUDIT" in kernel config menu, like;

# General setup
# CONFIG_AUDIT is not set

New rules available for Debian, Aide, Chkrootkit and Logcheck

Hi People,

I have created rules for A fresh Debian install, Aide, Chkrootkit and Logcheck, and I have put them on the wiki site.

They work with an 2.4 kernel, but I still need to test them with an 2.6 kernel. The logcheck rules will be adapted soon.
