OpenOffice printer problems.

In the current OpenOffice 1.1.1 if you go to File > Print or Printer
Settings.

Then click the Properties button. Nothing happens :(

Tried under fedora 1 & 2.

The regular fedora2 version does the same thing.

Also if you go to Format > Page.

Select the Page tab and then select A Paper Tray.

It does work but it takes a very long time to respond.

It all works properly in the debian version of OO 1.1.1.

I really love the idea of the direct cups support :-)

Have about 20 printers to setup some with many optional features.
I hate to set them up again and again and again.....
But if I installed this as is I would be a real unpopular person.

Didn't try the generic version.

John

I can only replicate the print and printer settings bugs on my FC2.
Format > Page is fine.

How do I figure out what's blocking an upgrade?

I'm getting this:

[root <at> pinkie root]# apt-get dist-upgrade
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Calculating Upgrade... Done
The following packages have been kept back
kdeaddons kdeartwork kdebase kdebase-devel kdegames kdegraphics kdegraphics-devel kdelibs
kdelibs-devel kdemultimedia
kdemultimedia-devel kdenetwork kdenetwork-devel kdepim kdepim-devel kdesdk kdetoys kdeutils
kdeutils-devel koffice
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 removed and 20 not upgraded.
[root <at> pinkie root]# more /etc/redhat-release
Fedora Core release 1 (Yarrow)

How do I ask it to tell me why it won't upgrade the KDE on this machine?

Thanks!
thomas

Re: How do I figure out what's blocking an upgrade?

Ok, I've figured out what's missing - ImageMagick compiled with libjasper.

There is no such beast on the kde-redhat servers - and the only version I can find is to compile it via the
jasper web page.

Can someone please fix this?

I forgot - I have RH9 and I used KDE for Red Hat Linux repositories to
upgrade kde of course.

Do a
apt-get install <list of packages held back>

and it'll tell you why

What RH release?

Try in order:
/usr/lib/mozilla*/mozilla-rebuild-databases.pl

apt-get install --reinstall mozilla

Does either one help?
