Kmail 1.12.0 bug?

This last few days I've seen what appears to be a bug, so would like other
kmail users to tell me if they see it too.

My normal setting for moving to a folder is "Jump to last selected message".
This has stopped working. If I set it to "Jump to first unread or new
message" that works.

Can anyone confirm or deny? Thanks

Anne

On the Plus Side

Hiyall

After about a week of using 4.2.90. I should balance my rants with what I find positive. The folder view for
the desktop is finally and wonderfully functional.

I can lay down plasmoids on top of it. There is a functional context menu (run command included). Moving over
folders drills down folders. Context menu of files has the copy to and move to and open with and just about
everything else that seems normal for kde in it.

Finally, My Desktop is a desktop again. Well done!!! :)

kate shortcuts

Hi - is it just me, or does pressing shortcuts such as "Ctrl+S" in kate ion
KDE 4.2 always brings up the message "The key sequence 'Ctrl+S' is
ambiguous. Use 'Configure Shortcuts' from the 'Settings' menu to solve the
ambiguity. No action will be triggered.'

This didn't happen before the Fedora 10 KDE 4.2 update. There are no obvious
ambiguities in the shortcut dialog, and other shortcut keys bring up the
same message.

Thanks

Jeremy

KMail is a real mess after upgrading to KDE 4.2

Hi, people

I've just upgraded KDE to 4.2 from updates-testing and generally
speaking, I liked the upgrade. There were some minor problems, but all
in all it's good.
Kmail, however, is a real mess. The message list panel is completely
broken. The columns I had selected to be shown there and their order
were lost and all the 17 columns that can be selected to be shown were
checked, including two columns for the sender of for the recipient
depending on the selected folder, because the sender/recipient, sender
and recipent columns were all checked. But the problem is worst, because
after reconfiguring all this, I see that every time I close Kmail and
reopen it, all message list panel configuration is lost and all the 17
columns are shown again.
Also, the columns which have just icons in their contents, like the
spam/not spam, attachments, important and others, now have texts on
their headers. Theses columns are normally set to be just as wide as
necessary to the icons to be shown. With texts in their captions, only
the first letter of the header appears. This is a regression, because
until kde 4.1.4 kmail used icons on the headers of these columns.
Also, kmail does not honor font configurations for the message list
panel anymore. The configuration screen is there, but has no effect at
all.
Worst than all this is the fact that kmail does not group messages in
threads anymore. And the option to set this up is gone from the Folder
menu. I hope this is well hidden somewhere else, but I couldn't find
it... Does any one know how to setup kmail to thread messages now?
Really, a mail client that does not thread discussions is of no use for
me.

Is there a way to go back to the previous version of KMail??

Thanks,

Marcelo

Would it be possible to include kepas in Fedora KDE packages?

Rex e Kevin,

Would it be possible to include kepas in Fedora KDE packages?
http://www.kde-
apps.org/content/show.php/Kepas+-+KDE+Easy+Publish+and+Share?content=73968

I really miss kpf from KDE 3.5.x and kepas seems to be kpf with a few
more features.

Thanks,

Marcelo
