I was trying to install a newer version of linux on the box (RH 7.2), but
I'm having trouble with the installer and the raid card. When I get to the
partitions part, it says that there are no valid devices to perform the
installation on.
Documentation says (they only talk about Poweredge servers and mine is a
Power.App 120) that I need to pass parameters to the module (pci id). I
tried with all the possible combinations, but I think they only work for
1650's.
Also I'm a little bit confused about which one to use: aacraid or megaraid
driver.
I have downloaded (according to the site) the latest megaraid drivers
(megaraid-1.18a), but it's in source: *.c and *.h. Any tips on how to use it
to perform the installation?
Any help will be really appreciated.
