Kenwood ts-850 and ts-480sat.

Hello to all,

now I am a kenwood ham, all my rigs are from kenwood, last aquisition
was a ts-480sat, it is indeed a very good rig.

I'd like to work with my kenwood rigs with hamlib, but up to now my
ts-850 has still problems and I choose ts-811 in settings to work with it.

With my ts-480sat hamlib does not work at all.

Maybe anyone could help me, or I could help.

Best 73s and till next email.

Well, it was my mistake and ignorance, I changed speed to 9600 and now
it works fine, tks for your info.
But ts-850 stills does not work with hamlib yet, if anybody want to take
about it let me know.

Best 73s to all.

FAIL: testcpp

Hi,

I'm trying to compile hamlib-1.2.5

A very frequent warning is "differ in signedness" for many of the sourcefiles.
I don't know if this is important or not?

Running 'make check' gives this result below :-(

Any clues?

P.S. I'm using gcc 4.1.0 running on SuSE 10.1

I have used a ts480 with hamlib so I know it works. What is your exact
problem with it? What di you mean it doesn't work?

Rig Control Program for the Pegasus

As a long time user of linux programs, I am eager to use a linux application
for controlling my Pegasus. This would just about eliminate my need to
dos/windows programs on the shack computer. Can you please give me some
pointers, the url of a tutorial ... or at least put me out of my misery (in
case there just isn't such an application).

Thank you

Richard

This is the full debug output shown when grig 0.4 starts. The output
format has chanced in grig 0.5, so tt seems that you have installed an
old version of grig (ubuntu package?). Anyway, it shouldn't be any
problem.
