VDR 1.6.0-2 does always restart

Hi,

I switched recently to vdr-1.6.0-2, a new kernel and using X with 
vdr-xineliboutput. The result is that vdr does not work, probably 
because of these problems:

1.) Somehow I now get after about 2 minutes a kernel oops. The source 
seems to be the driver of my dvb-cards (2 terratec cynergy 1400). I do 
automatically report the kernel oopses at www.kerneloops.org in the 
hope, that this problem will be fixed, soon.

2.) vdr does always restart. I do not know if this is connected to 1.). 
I attached part of the log. Perhaps anyone here can give me a hint, what 
could be wrong.

overlay vdr-1.5 closed/removed

Hallo Gentoo-VDR Maillist,

I've removed all content and dir's from overlay vdr-1.5
Also it is removed the entry from the portage layman file.

Please use for the VDR developer tree ( vdr-1.7.x ) the vdr-devel
overlay.

media-plugins/vdr-xineliboutput should be updated to 1.0.1, 1.0.0 has 
bug with zapping channels.

SRC_URI="mirror://sourceforge/${PN#vdr-}/${MY_P}.tgz"

Only minor change to SRC_URI is needed (s/-1//).

How about taking this Joachim Wilkes patched version of VDR LCDProc 
Plugin to portage (media-plugins/vdr-lcdproc)?

It shows more info at VFD-screen, now playing info works also with
music/videos (not just tv-channel).

Version 0.0.10-jw3 works at least with VDR 1.5.17 and 1.6.0 without 
patching.

Plugin will only compile with VDR up from version 1.5.7

vdr script failed to start

Hi All.

Today I had the bad idea of updating vdr just to see how xinelibout is working
compared to softdevice (never ever update a perfectly working system). The
result is that the vdr init script doesn't work anymore.

This is the output:

building vdr on uclibc systems does not work

Hi,

I posted a bug about the topic [1]. Does anyone here know, how to solve
it? I cannot believe, that vdr will not work on a uclibc system.
