awstats-6.5 status

Hi,

awstats-6.5 rpm package never landed in dag repository. There is fedora extras one but it has completely different files layout that is not compatible with my current setup.

Can somebody give me some hints if there will be any awstats package update in the furure? Or should I switch to fedora extras one and reconfigure my system?

Regards,

m.

package request: OpenLDAP with --enable-aci

Hi outthere,

I am using the groupware open-xchange (www.open-xchange.org) which needs
an OpenLDAP Server with the option --enable-aci compiled under RHEL 4.
This package is not provided by RedHat as they are regarding this option
as unstable.
The user community of open-xchange grows, so I decided to offer the
packages (http://www.uni-oldenburg.de/groupware/download/rpms/) for RHEL
4 only because my ressources are limited.

Never the less I would really appreciate if freshrpms could provide a
broader variety of this OpenLDAP flavour.
I append the spec-file, I used to build the rpms. HTH
The srpm is available at our web server as well.

kind regards
Hendrik Eggers

%description
OpenLDAP is an open source suite of LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access
Protocol) applications and development tools. LDAP is a set of
protocols for accessing directory services (usually phone book style
information, but other information is possible) over the Internet,
similar to the way DNS (Domain Name System) information is propagated
over the Internet. The openldap package contains configuration files,
libraries, and documentation for OpenLDAP.

%package devel
Summary: OpenLDAP development libraries and header files.
Group: Development/Libraries
Requires: openldap = %{version_22}-%{release}, cyrus-sasl-devel >= 2.1
Provides: openldap-evolution-devel = %{version_22}-%{release}

%description devel
The openldap-devel package includes the development libraries and
header files needed for compiling applications that use LDAP
(Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) internals. LDAP is a set of
protocols for enabling directory services over the Internet. Install
this package only if you plan to develop or will need to compile
customized LDAP clients.

%package servers
Summary: OpenLDAP servers and related files.
Prereq: fileutils, make, openldap = %{version_22}-%{release}, openssl, /usr/sbin/useradd, /sbin/chkconfig
Group: System Environment/Daemons

Protocol) applications and development tools. LDAP is a set of
protocols for accessing directory services (usually phone book style
information, but other information is possible) over the Internet,
similar to the way DNS (Domain Name System) information is propagated
over the Internet. This package contains the slapd and slurpd servers,
migration scripts, and related files.

%package servers-sql
Summary: OpenLDAP server SQL support module.
Prereq: openldap-servers = %{version_22}-%{release}
Group: System Environment/Daemons

%description servers-sql
OpenLDAP is an open-source suite of LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access
Protocol) applications and development tools. LDAP is a set of
protocols for accessing directory services (usually phone book style
information, but other information is possible) over the Internet,
similar to the way DNS (Domain Name System) information is propagated
over the Internet. This package contains a loadable module which the
slapd server can use to read data from an RDBMS.

%package clients
Summary: Client programs for OpenLDAP.
Prereq: openldap = %{version_22}-%{release}
Group: Applications/Internet

%description clients
OpenLDAP is an open-source suite of LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access
Protocol) applications and development tools. LDAP is a set of
protocols for accessing directory services (usually phone book style
information, but other information is possible) over the Internet,
similar to the way DNS (Domain Name System) information is propagated
over the Internet. The openldap-clients package contains the client
programs needed for accessing and modifying OpenLDAP directories.

# Declare this subpackage LAST. This version tag redefines %%{version}, so
# any future use would reference the wrong version.
%package -n compat-openldap
Summary: OpenLDAP compatibility shared libraries.
Group: System Environment/Libraries
Requires: openldap = %{version_22}-%{release}, cyrus-sasl >= 2.1
Version: %{compat_version}

%description -n compat-openldap
OpenLDAP is an open source suite of LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access
Protocol) applications and development tools. The compat-openldap package
includes older versions of the OpenLDAP shared libraries which may be

Dag,

Will you be updating to trac 0.9?

Just checking as otherwise I'll try and give a spec file a go.

Cheers,

Nope, this is HEAnet going berzerk. Happens too often to even care
about... :/

Do you have a mirrorlist for dags like some of the others, or is this a problem with the main server and mirrors wouldn't matter?

Re: Yum Error - repomd.xml

If you go to: http://apt.sw.be/
You'll see a list of mirrors... You can also check: http://dag.wieers.com/home-made/apt/links.php
It would be cool to have a "mirrorlist" file though, instead of having to manually change it.

XMLTV

Are there packages for XMLTV anywhere other than atrpms? I added atrpms to
yum and the list of updates it forces is, well, scary (I usually just have
freshrpms and rpmforge). So I decided I'd rather not get it there. I've
checked these sites:

http://rpmfind.net/
http://rpm.pbone.net/
http://www.fedoratracker.org/

But I had no luck.

Thanks. I've just instaled from nrpms, but beagle seem not to work from
there.

Did you recompiled wavemon for FC4? I hadn't success.

This last is new for me. The previous two are useful, specially pbone,
but they are not up-to-date neither index all the best known repos.

Is sad to discover the lack of syncro in that rpm world.

Thanks for your answer :-)

   Not to my knowledge, but it may be possible to specify that only xmltv (and
deps. you discover) should come from atrpms in yum.conf somewhere.
