Yes, I could be more aggressive on website in asking for money. But as
I've just written - I don't think there is chance I'd get enough to

AFAIK NBU is a proprietary format, I don't know if there's linux
software capable of reading it. What you could try is opening it with
some archiving software and hope it'll extract it into different
(known) file formates

Re: How to backup and restore MMS _with_ picture?

Hello Markus. Like i said last week i think that people are more or
less "freezed" in this lists. By the way i suggest for you is using
winpdb of winpdb.org or spe www.stani.be . these debug tools are very
good in my oppinion, because using this in my debian lenny and squeeze
i made some acquisitions in know-how about gammu. if you already
install gammu 1.31 package from source files (./configure, make and
make install) i think you may start gammu or wammu using these debug
and after this you follow code that is used to create sms, mms and
(with image, sound, movie, etc) one by time. using this method i have
learned (using a lot of time) details step by step. See the references
in gammu doc and in gsm org , about mms messages too.

Strange issue with Gammu/Gammu-smsd

Hello List,

I am using Gammu/Gammu-smsd to send messages.

I have two systems and one USB Modem. My gammu version is 1.31.0
compiled from sources.

One system is Debian Sid where I face strange issues with
gammu/gammu-smsd. I have attached the log for this named
"gammu-device.log".

On this system Gammu hangs after sending the message (message gets
delivered). However, smsd complaints about SMSC number, though the
same is present on the device.

Another system is Ubuntu 11.04 where I can send message with Gammu and
Gammu-smsd without error. However, I never get the delivery report in
smsd (I have tried both settings sms/log) attached logfile is
"gammu-1.31.0.log"

$ gammu identify
Device : /dev/ttyUSB1
Manufacturer : HSPA CORPORATION
Model : unknown (HSPA MODEM)
Firmware : BD_ZGDP679M1V1.0.0B01

$ lsusb
Bus 001 Device 006: ID 19d2:0108 ONDA Communication S.p.A

Please let me know if you need any more inputs.

Re: Strange issue with Gammu/Gammu-smsd

I suggest test this functions not in smsd but in a terminal using
gammu comands. see your gammu-device.log i think that gammu do not
reconigze your device pretty well. in gammu we have a very
compheensive doc but "hello list: some one could explain to all of us
how is the quick way to add new devices, models to gammu with lots of
hours spending reading codes?" please test with gammu command and you
will see the message in your inbox msg use: gammu setsmsc ..... gammu
sendsms ..... gammu getallsms .... and in my case the message was
there but i think, because timing..sync in smsd we could not find the
message in folder but manually with command we could find the sms
there and report of send too.

Thanks, Gilberto. Having done this, I see Gammu is apparently much
more powerful than whan Wammu exposes.
