linux-staging

Hello hackers,

I just want to throw your attention to http://lkml.org/lkml/2008/6/10/329

>From the README:

"The linux-staging tree was created to hold drivers and filesystems and
other semi-major additions to the Linux kernel that are not ready to be
merged at this point in time."

Maybe that's something for em8300?

[ANNOUNCE] My development repository

HI all,

I want to introduce my hg development repository The goal of this
repository is to fix
issues I have with the card and maybe bring in some new features.

http://freehg.org/u/austriancoder/em8300-cgmeiner/

At the moment I am working to get the driver running on a the recent 2.6.26-rc6
kernel. Nicolas, how shall handle my repository? Can I tell you when I
am ready with
my stuff and you have a look at all pachtes (max 5 to 6)?

greets,
Christian

That'd be fine.

One question anyway about yout "proc_root" patch: does it work with
older kernels?

Cheers,

Nicolas
