Hi, Lately I am interested in moving a video project onto VHS, so I want to use the TV out port of my Dxr3 card, but... In NTSC mode, the video is twice the width of the TV screen, and the colors are not saturated (so black looks gray, and red looks pink). I've tried various combinations of module parameters, and get the same results with the Creative Dxr3 card and the Hollywood+ card. The em8300 driver was from CVS in fall of 2004, and my kernel is 2.6.9. Is there a known bug? PAL works OK, but my VCR only knows NTSC. With kernel 2.4.20, em8300-0.11.x, and the exact same microcode, this problem did not occur. If your answer is "try the newest version of em8300," then I will. But if one of you knows of this problem already, I would like to hear about it. Thank you. I'll try to work this out, but I can't promise anything for 0.15.3. If
anyone wants to prepare a patch, feel free...
Cheers,
