patch for i810 sound-docs

hi

i'm new here at the kernel-development.
i've found out that the newest i810-driver (which is include
since 2.4.18) supports more than the i810 chipset. my
attached patched corrects that in the menu-system for
compiling and at the infos.

could anybody please put it in? or where must i send it?

Re: patch for i810 sound-docs

Hello Johannes,

Look in the file "MAINTAINERS" in your Linus source tree. That is where to
find the information about where to send updates.

To facilitate the process you should include:
- Identification of yourself.
- Identification of the source kernel that you used to patch from ( ex.
kernel.org/linux 2.2.4
- unified patch (diff -NAUR) cleaned for unrelated diff entries)

Hope that gets you on your way,

Sincerely,
