Re: Building custom kernel from experimental or AX25

Hi !

This should do it. Of course the loadable module version would do it too, then i need the module files too :)

Many thanks

I have tried again to compile it. Installed the same voyage in VM. Compiled it after some tries. But the kernel is not working, there are missing modules, like ath_pci.ko for example. I think i don't have the latest pached source? I have this:
http://www.voyage.hk/dists/experimental/linux/linux-source-2.6.32-voyage_8.0-1_all.deb

Where to find the source for the daily build?

Or will the next be with support for AX25? :-)

Best regards.

Piotr

Hi ,

What exactly the kernel config you need for radio support?  We can help if you specify what I need to enable them.

Can You help me to compile the kernel or send me a compiled kernel with ax25?

Re: Building custom kernel from experimental or AX25

Hi. Many thanks for the new kernel.

I think there is something wrong. I installed it. The modules for ax25 are not there. The config file (/boot/config-2.6.32-voyage) says also nothing about the ax25 support. Are you sure You gave me the right link?

The filesize is 8030646 i downloaded it about an hour ago.

Would You help?

Hi Piotr,

Please download it again. That should be included in the latest build.

OK, many many thanks, works fine now.

Would the ax25 support be enabled in later experimental and stable build?

Hi Piotr,

It is in experimental which means it will be included in the next official release.

Hi,
can you add also the "iptables limit" support?
In an old voyage release (if I remember correctly, it was 0.5.X), it was
compiled as module, but in the current one no. As now xt_recent failed:

modprobe xt_recent
FATAL: Module xt_recent not found.

Thanks,
Michele

ZOne Minder & MySQL

Has anyone tried to run Zone Minder on Voyage on the CF card in read only
mode? Zone Minder requires MySQL. Is it possible to run MySQL on Linux Voyage
to write to RAM?

usbmount doesn't mount at startup

Hello

I installed the usbmount package today in voyage linux 0.5.2 livecd image.
rebuilt said mentioned livecd image and usbmount won't mount any usb drives
that are plugged in at startup. After the system is started up it works
fine, i can even unplug the ones that where plugged in and plug them back in
and they work. I was having some troubles with a folder that usbmount
relies on. This folder is '/var/run/usbmount', i created the folder but
every time the livecd starts up, its not there. To get around this I
created a startup item to create the folder. Any help would be great.
