Debugging pthreads

Has anybody get ptreads debugging working?
I can see that there is libthread_db compiled, but i do not know how
should i configure (compiler, kernel, debugger ?).

I have tried normal and -static compile
I changed .gdbinit whit
set solib-absolute-prefix <ltib install>/rootfs

And I did not get errors like

Error while mapping shared library sections:
but now i get:

Cannot get first thread handle: capability not available
Once i get over function pthread_create()

I am debugging this using gdbserver
compiling native gdb fails.
Normal debugging works ok.

Unable to get ltib from cvs.savannah.nongnu.org

Dear friends.

I am unable to download ltib from cvs.savannah.nongnu.org server, I am
following the instructions described at:

"No route to host"

Probably this is a problem with my carrier, although I am trying from
2 different carriers and facing the same problem.

Can anyone perform a test and check if everything is ok? Or bind me to
the right procedure to download ltib.

Thanks in advance

Re: Unable to get ltib from cvs.savannah.nongnu.org

Hi Hamilton,

I just tried and got a similar problem:

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous <at> cvs.savannah.nongnu.org:/sources/ltib co -P
ltib
cvs [checkout aborted]: connect to
cvs.savannah.nongnu.org(140.186.70.72):2401 failed: Connection refused

It looks like there's a problem at Savannah. Let's leave it for a day
and see if they get it fixed.

Regards, Stuart

lpc3250 w/ lan8700 does not recover link on some switches

Kevin,

I have discovered in testing that disconnecting the Ethernet for some period of time ~30 secs and reconnecting the cable will result in a never re-link scenario.  I have tried several switches and the one I have problems with is the LinkSys & Cisco SR224 v2.  If you disconnect and then re-connect, it will re-link.  The problem seems to be time constrained as to when it won’t recover.  Any ideas?  SMSC.C has not changed for quite some time.  That leaves lpc_eth.c/.h.  We are using the LAN8700 PHY w/ LPC3250.  The same thing happens with the PHYTEC reference design.
