A Oficina Debian Mineira é um evento permanente, atualmente mensal,
composto inicialmente de 2 palestras, uma sobre a estrutura
organizacional do Projeto Debian e uma sobre algum aspecto ou
curiosidade técnica do sistema, contando agora com um breve relato das
discussões que estão acontecendo no Projeto Debian atualmente. O
objetivo é aumentar o conhecimento geral sobre como o Projeto Debian
estrutura seus processos internos, como por exemplo o processo de
lançamento de novas versões e sobre as ferramentas e metodologias de
desenvolvimento usados.

Nosso encontro será sábado, dia 18 de março, na
UNI-BH campus Diamantina sala 414 (Campus que dá de frente para a Av. 
Antônio Carlos no bairro Lagoinha): Rua Diamantina, 567 - Lagoinha, das 
nove horas da manhã ao meio dia e contará com as seguintes apresentações:

Desculpe turma por estar enviando novamente a mensagem. Mas porque teve 
erro na data que fora enviado. Então estou retificando o mesmo e

Debian QA Meeting in Extremadura. Martin Michlmayr [3]called for
participation at the Debian Quality Assurance [4]meeting in December
in Extremadura, Spain. It is intended to help coordinate the QA work
in Debian and is limited to 20 people. The Region of Extremadura will
kindly cover travel expenses for attendants from Europe.

Debian Backup Server. Joey Schulze [5]announced a dedicated backup
server for important Debian resources excluding the buildd systems.
The backup of a resource consists of 10 to 100 versions. Since a
history of changes is maintained on the backup machine Debian
administration can roll back a resource to an older version and also
extract differences between past versions on demand.

project announced pre-built [3]templates for virtual Debian servers

Status of the AMD64 Port. Anthony Towns [4]reported about the
inclusion of [5]amd64 in Debian. The packages from

archive's rebuilt.

Deprecating debmake after etch. Santiago Vila [5]announced that
[6]debmake will be removed from testing and unstable some time after
