It does also launch scripts from config/, named
packages.${dist}.commands${level}

When ${dist}="cvs" that includes some "svn go" or "git clone".

It's horribly clumsy but works as is since about 2004..:-)

l10n-sync is indeed more safe, yes. But it is not involved in
statistics calculations.

This is the current configuration.

The mirror is full because I tried to host src+i386+amd64 on it and that
outgrew the disk. These days the hostname is redirected to ftp.se.d.o to
avoid breakage.

Thanks for your answer, Martin.

I suggest you keep the machine ready. As of now, we have two options if
we can get our hands back on churro:
- transfer it to your machine
- transfer it to the i18n.debian.org prepared last summer by Felipe.

The first option has my preference as it avoids polluting a machine that
was ready for DSA administration.

I've just done a clean safe-upgrade and will do a dist-upgrade as well.
Later today or something I'll clean out the broken mirror.

DDTSS system is up again, but it still has some big issues

Hi!

I read that Churro is back up and indeed the DDTSS is up again.

There were some big probs, at least in the Italian page, that started
right before Churro went down the last time.

Those issues are still there. No description seems "fetch-able" in the
correct way. If you fetch a new description (using the link
http://ddtp.debian.net/ddtss/index.cgi/it/fetch) you get a message like
"Fetched ojs successfully" but when you are redirected to the translation
screen all you see is an error message.
Thus it's impossible to do any translation work.

The same thing happened with all the packages we tried to fetch (those in
"pending translation"), you can see the error page if you open any of the
relative translation screens
e.g. http://ddtp.debian.net/ddtss/index.cgi/it/translate/initscripts

thanks,
Beatrice.

SV: DDTSS system is up again, but it still has some big issues

Same on Danish

but Pending works fine (for those already there).

all the fetched descriptions with error message ends up in pending (and continues giving errors).

but I would give it a day or two.

another strange thing on a package for Danish is (this is not something new after churro is up again = old bug).

ifuse was translated and ifuse-dbg consists of ifuses descriptions and a standard text already translated in antoher package, but the package is not translated and is shown under Pending. I can open it for translation (but everything is already translated), and I cannot submit it (without making some kind of changes).

bye
Joe

the import functions rely on complete descriptions in the packages.
This has been changed slightly before churro went down.

The workaround is to go to ddtp.debian.net/<$char>.html, determine
the last description number (e.g. 79539) and retrieve the description
by number.

Cheers,
    Martin

I've tried this... it didn't work. Though I am not sure I did everything
right.

Here is what I did.

- I found a package description not yet translated in Italian: oasis3

- I went to http://ddtp.debian.net/o.html
and found out 107972 is the last description number.

- I went to http://ddtp.debian.net/ddtss/index.cgi/it/translate/107972
I got a msg saying "Fetching package 107972 for translation, please
wait..."
Then a page saying "Fetched oasis3 successfully"
and then I was redirected to the same kind of Internal error page as
usual.

Thanks,
beatrice.

SV: DDTSS system is up again, but it still has some big issues

I just write the number on the main page in the field: Fetch specific description

but I'm getting a message saying: already fetched by others on some of them. (which is not the case).
