short outage on bugs email

Hi everybody,

Someone has decided to launch a massive spam run on bugs.debian.org, and
we're cleaning it up now.  The exim listener will be off line for the
next half hour or so, so if you find some bug reports backing up in your
queue, please retry later today.

Downtime at UBCECE

Hello all,

There will be an outage at UBCECE November 9th, 2009, beginning at
approximately 15:00 UTC.  This outage is necessary for infrastructure
upgrades.  The outage is scheduled to take anywhere from 9 hours to 33
hours (that is, either until 04:00 10th November 2009 UTC or until 04:00
11th November 2009) depending on whether work stretches into a second day.

Services definitely affected:
 - finzi and fano (kfreebsd-{i386,amd64} buildds
 - valente (volatile-master)
 - geo2 (seconday nameserver for geodns services)
 - brahms (amd64 buildd)
 - duarte (bugs web mirror)
 - wolkenstein (www test host)

Services possibly affected:
 - stabile (snapshot)

Services at UBCECE that we will attempt to keep running throughout:
 - cimarosa (buildd.d.o)
 - bellini (www, lintian, popcon)
 - ravel (people, d-i)
 - respighi (patch-tracker)

more address changes at ubcece

Hi,

we moved a couple more hosts at UBC/ECE to a new address space
(dijkstra, valente, duarte, brahms, wolkenstein).

valente is volatile-master, so that might require changing some allow
rules for ssh triggers.

brahms is a buildd so wbadm and ftp-master might have to apply changes
for wb and incoming access.

I don't think anything non-DSA depends on IP addresses of the other
hosts.

scheduled power outage at Sanger

Hi,

we are currently shutting down machines at Sanger so the machines can 
be moved to a new room within their datacenter. Machines should be up 
again later today.

Effected machines:
* smetana.debian.org
* goetz.debian.org
* albeniz.debian.org

reboot of merkel.d.o

Hi,

i will reboot merkel.debian.org the next minutes. From experiences we 
know that reboots of merkel may take a while (up to 20-30min).
