Package: xserver-xorg-video-radeon Version: 1:6.13.0-2 Severity: normal Tags: sid With kernel 2.6.32-3-amd64, suspend works perfectly but I have no (2D) acceleration. With kernel 2.6.32-5-amd64, 2D acceleration works perfectly but suspend doesn't: at wakeup, system is _completely_ stuck (all LEDs on, doesn't even respond to Alt+Stamp+various). But then, if I wait 20-25 seconds (even without doing anything), it becomes perfectly responsive again, except that acceleration doesn't work any more (OK, my _impression_ is that the 2D graphics reacts still better than with 2.6.32-3-amd64, but it may very well be an illusion, and certainly I'm no more able to playback DVDs smoothly, as happens with a "freshly booted" 2.6.32-5-amd64). I'm now writing after such a wakeup, and in my ignorance I guess the "dmesg" output below says much. Moreover, at that moment the system becomes less stable: for instance, if I ask another suspend, it becomes definitely unresponsive (with caps lock flashing), though this maybe doesn't happen always. The problem (the first) is perfectly reproducible, so feel free to ask for missing informations. Pietro P.S: 3D acceleration is missing in any configuration, but I guess you know that. -- Package-specific info: /var/lib/x11/X.roster does not exist. /var/lib/x11/X.md5sum does not exist.
