Bug#42057: xlibs: [xkb] data for French keyboards should use info in the French-HOWTO

I did sent it to Guylhem Aznar in February 2002. The original version of
this patch was fixing a number of defects of the fr-latin9 file shipped
with the Francophone HOWTO.

I had to send him a few additionnal e-mails before getting an answer. He
answered me in May of the same year telling me that "he would put that
on the list of things to improve next time".

I had no news since then. I am rather skeptical that he will consider my
patch this time, as it seems he completely ignored my previous patch.

If you suggest that I submit this to Guylhem Aznar, it's just a waste of
time.

If there is another way to submit this patch, I will be happy to submit
it. (I had a look to the current fr-latin9 file and I believe my version
has a few improvements).

Thanks.

Re: who is the author of the Linux evdev patch to lnx_kbd.c?

You did put a copyright notice in one file, but there was no license
information, so that was needed. Also, your work was split up into 3
patches.

I've put the following legalese into SVN. This information is, at
present, just in the patch annotation, not in the source code itself.

Well, could you comment out all the Wacom devices from your ServerLayout
for a while and see if you can reproduce the problem without the wacom
driver in use?
