The charset written in stats pages is currently harcoded to iso8859-1,
which breaks acents in maintainer names (read form translation-check
header).

Here is a little patch applied against stattrans.pl that advertise the
same charset as the wml one.

The script on i18n.debian.net that sends notification to translators
maybe affected as well depending on the translator.db.pl encoding.
(not yet checked).

This bug does not affect stable, so I don't believe that a DSA is likely to
be issued for it.  And given that this has already been posted to
debian-www, there's no reason to hide it now; re-adding the Cc:.

A page I recently created does not appear in any search results.

To reproduce:
a) Brouse to http://wiki.debian.org/InstallingDebianOn/Thinkpad/X61T/Lenny
	to verify it still exists.
b) Search for the title and for content of the page and try some search macros.

The page http://wiki.debian.org/InstallingDebianOn/Thinkpad/X61T/lenny
	(note lowercase l) does show on searches.----------------^
So does http://wiki.debian.org/InstallingDebianOn/Thinkpad/X61T/Lenny?action=AttachFile&do=get&target=photo.png.
Which sugests a problem with one word titles beginning with uppercase.

Similar (yet different) bugs appear upstream:

These point towards setting 'xapian_stemming = False' but actually exhibit an opposite behaviour.

Bug#357300:

I'd like to me-too this bug.  It's been a few years, and no response.

I think this would still be very useful, especially if the script that
generated it converted text like "[2.4]" to a link to the relevant
section.

It appears that the conclusion above is wrong and the behaviour is somewhat 
more intrinsic.
After removing most of the content (rev.4) the page has suddenly appeared on 
the search macro at http://wiki.debian.org/InstallingDebianOn/Thinkpad
reverting back to rev.3(5) caused the page to disappear again.

Still  
http://wiki.debian.org/InstallingDebianOn/Thinkpad/X61T/lenny?action=recall&rev=3
should be an exact copy of the hiding page and is seen by the same search 
mechanisms.

A clean was perfomered in the mean time, the html output is back now.
