If that was a question, I agree. (and if that was a request, I support

Note that I never used this Moin feature, so I wouldn't know of issues 
with it, but I assume there are no significant issues.

wiki.d.o: SummerOfCode2009/KDE-based-packagemanager

Hi,
the wiki page

could use some work, but I can't easily edit it to due an edit restriction on my account for this page set by
Paul Wise in revisions 13, 14 and 15. The restriction is commented by "No edit wars, thanks", which doesn't
make much sense. I didn't notice any other communication from Paul on this issue.

Some improvements that should be made can be seen in the diff between revisions 10 and 11. Would someone
restore this version or remove the access restriction so I can handle it?

Cc-ing Paul hoping he could shed some light on this. Paul, if you sent me a mail, please resend it (or contact
chealer via irc.debian.org) and accept my apologies.

P. S.: I forgot to mention that the Moin upgrade is very appreciated.

I don't know if you remember it, but a few days ago, I asked you to
revert the change, because it did the page worse and more unreadable.

You chose to say something within the lines "Don't discuss this here".
I asked you again to revert it or I would do it and ask for a ban of
you for that wikipage. You repeated your answer.

So, I reverted, you reverted my revert, I reverted your reversion of my
revert and got Paul to set up the acl's.

And please note that having edit access to the debian wiki is a
priviledge, not a right.

There was more bad than good in that revision, so hopefully no one wants
to do that.

I don't see how this is relevant, unless you imply that this past talks 
about the value of my contributions. Should that be the case, please 
notice that the debbugs team is currently under investigation before 
jumping to conclusions.

Actually, most pages can be edited by any registered user.

If you think there's something bad, please explain what and I'll

There is a kind of implicit rule on this wiki...
wiki pages are like packages, they are maintained by some Teams/People.
(DebianInstaller/* are managed by DI team, WiFi/* pages are managed by
Geoff Simons and a few others, DebianEdu/* are managed by Holger a few
others ...).
It doesn't prevents other people from contributing. But if the
maintainer don't like one's patch... well that person should try to
understand why his/her patch were rejected and talk to the maintainer.
(Telling why the patch isn't applied seems to be a good practice too).

Based on the fact that Sune had initiated that gsoc page, made many
contributions, and that he is the maintainer of many KDE packages, he
obviously cares for that page.

Note: the wiki changelog is a very effective communication tool, when
it's used as such. (i.e say what you do and why you did it).
