I am sending you here my login/password for pserver account:

password is crypted with command:
perl -e "printf \"%s\n\", crypt ("SECRET", join ('', ('.', '/', 0..9,

Dear Customer Service,

We have hand-selected your site, http://www.debian.org/intro/free, as a
valuable link exchange partner for our site, "Stocks Signal Pro."

Our site, http://www.stockssignalpro.com/ , is the home of the Complete
Stock Trading System called Stock Signal Pro, developed by California
software engineers over the last 5 years.

We share similar customers, but since we are not directly competing
businesses, I have placed a link to your site along with description at
http://www.stockssignalpro.com/directory_software.html

We will leave your link on our site for a reasonable amount of time to
give you a chance to link back to us. If you decide not to link with us,
we'll delete your link in the near future.

As you know, reciprocal linking benefits both of us by raising our search
rankings and generating free traffic to both of our sites. If you like our
site, please post a backlink to us as follows:

Title: Stocks Signal Pro
URL: http://www.stockssignalpro.com/
Description: The Inexpensive Alternative to Overpriced Stock Trading
Systems

Once you've posted the link, let us know the URL of the page that it's on,
by entering it in this form:

http://www.stockssignalpro.com/link_exchange.php?ua=_ua9&site_index=MTU2NjU0NzY%3D

You can also use that form to make changes to the text of the link to your
site, if you'd like.

If you do not already have link exchange software, we recommend these :

debian.org insists I can read Finnish

Hi,

debian.org serves web pages to me in Finnish even though I can not read
Finnish.

When I change to English on the bottom of the page, I get an English
version, but when I click another link, everything is in Finnish again.

Can this be fixed?

Thanks,

Robin Boerdijk

Well it can, but not by us.

The language that is shown is based on settings in your browser.
Apparently in the browser that you are using the preferences are set to
show a Finnish translation if available.

Just make sure that English ranks higher than Finnish and you should get
the correct language.

Cheers,
FJP

Actually, yes, it can be fixed:

- Upgrade www.d.o to Apache 2
- When changing language, do so via a small CGI script which sets a cookie
- Use the features of Apache >=2.0.51:
  SetEnvIf Cookie "language=([a-z][a-z])" prefer-language=$1

http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_setenvif.html#setenvif

Cheers,

  Richard

Looking for a business partnership

Dear Sirs,

We are a Russian web-development, localization and advertizing company situated in Moscow, the site is http://www.yourdesign.ru

Russia is known to be one of the most interesting countries nowadays from the point of view of business
expansion and investment. Moscow is the city where there are more billionaires than anywhere else in the
world.

We found your site in the dmoz directory and would like to offer our services to your business.

Our services usually consist of localization (that is making your brand looking good and natural on
Russian market), translating all the necessary texts, translating the brand itself, advertizing
campaign in Internet or other media, making a separate site like www.your-product.ru and advertizing
it, selling goods to end users or helping you to communicate with them.

The strategy highly depends on what is being sold on the Russian market or advertized. It can be just a site or
a whole advertizing and localization campaign, designing ads, making poetic translation of your rhymed
slogan, re-drawing your logo for the Russian language, naming your product taking into consideration
the peculiarities of the Russian language and so on.

The prices for or services are extremely low and are discussed in every case separately. There is no
established service package. Everything should be examined separately. We work with every branch of
business, from selling realty abroad to localizing a new model of toothbrushes.

Looking forward to your more detailed description of what you want to achieve here in Moscow, and if it will
be convenient for you, in English,

Dmitry Rudakov,
