Bug#213520: ITP: phpreports -- A report generation system written in PHP

Package: wnpp
Version: N/A; reported 2003-10-01
Severity: wishlist

* Package name    : phpreports
  Version         : 0.1.5
  Upstream Author : Eustaquio Rangel de Oliveira J <eustaquiorangel <at> yahoo.com>
* URL             : http://phpreports.sf.net/
* License         : GPL
  Description : A report generation system written in PHP

PHPReports takes report definitions written in a custom XML DTD format and
turns them into a complete set of PHP code, which can be run to produce a
HTML formatted report in the format you specified.

Currently only HTML reports can be produced, in a fairly straightforward
table-oriented style, however work is underway to allow the generation of
PDF, plain text, and other formatting styles, for those that want them.

Bug#139975: GNURadio packages progress

GNURadio packages are almost ready for upload. It requires some
more cleanup and I will be uploading it tentatively in another
two weeks. The upstream, now onwards, will have the debian related
files as part of the package itself, and will be checked into the CVS.

thanks

OK. Perfect.

Exactly what I did. The problem, at the time, is that there was no package
called "python" with version >=2.2. Python 2.2's package was called
"python2.2", hence the confusion. But it's all OK now. I require "python
(>=2.2)"

If they're executables they should be in /bin or /usr/bin, but if they are
editable they can't be in / or /usr hierrachy, so we're at dead end.

The good solution would be to split the "editable" portion of ask.py and put
it into a file that can be edited in another location. An alternative could
be to put ask.py in /etc/ hierrachy and symlink it from /usr/bin/.

Uhm.. I'm not sure. Could you ask this in debian-devel? (and keep me on CC)

ITP swiss-ephemeris

Package: wnnp
Severity: normal

  Package name    : swiss-ephemeris
  Version         : 1.6.6
  Upstream Author : Dieter Koch and Dr. Alois Treindl <swisseph-owner <at> astro.ch>
  URL             : ftp://www.astro.ch/pub/swisseph
  License         : DFSG-free I think, see below
  Description : Ephemeris of Astronomical/Astrological data

The Swiss Ephemeris is a function package for the computation of planetary
positions. It includes the planets, the moon, the lunar nodes, the lunar
apogees, the main asteroids, Chiron, Pholus, the fixed stars and several
"hypothetical" bodies. Hundreds of other minor planets are included as
well.

The precision of the Swiss Ephemeris is very high. It is at least
as accurate as the Astromical Almanac, the standard planetary and lunar
tables astronomers refer to.

The data for 1800-2200 AD is also included.

Here is the license:

Included below is draft version 0.2 of the license that we are currently
using for the Swiss Ephemeris Free Edition. The license
is called the Swiss Ephemeris Public License (or "SEPL"), and qualifies as
an Open Source license. It is thus appropriate for people wishing to write
software under the Open Source model where all source code to the software
is made available to all users and can be freely modified and
