The bug is fixed in our repository, the next upload will close it.

Norbert, I suggest to do the upload ASAP.

Already reported -> merging.

I don't really understand the code hence I can't tell if that A-Za-z
is the correct fix, but I suspect it.

It looks like it matches a cp/m drive letter like A: etc, in upper or
lower case.

Many thanks for your work! However we won't update the TL packages in
Debian just for a single LaTeX package. If people need the fix they
can install the updated package into the local texmf tree.

Please notify us if the new package is on CTAN.

Couldn't tlmgr be packaged to handle such situations ?

Not really. See Message #65 in http://bugs.debian.org/473216 . We
have to ship the license in all packages, as the policy maintainers
are not willing to ship the LPPL in /usr/share/common-licenses.

I'm closing my request to put the request to include it. Many thanks
to all contributors!

Missing Desp/Recommends/Suggests in texlive-binaries??

Hi,

When comparing http://packages.debian.org/sid/texlive-binaries with
http://packages.debian.org/lenny/texlive-base-bin one notices that
texlive-base-bin declares a few more deps/recommends/suggests than
texlive-binaries.

deps:
- ed (fixed in SVN)
- texlive-common
- perl
- mime-support

recommends:
- texlive-base-bin-doc (is there an equivalent in TL 2009?)

suggests:
- ghostscript
- gv or postscript-viewer
- perl-tk
- xpdf-reader or pdf-viewer

Was that intended or got these relationships simply lost during
packaging TL 2009?

Thanks,
  Hilmar

It is now on CTAN, hence I guess it will be in TL 2010, right? Please
confirm.
