the tetex-* packages have been replaced by metapackages that bring in
quite a lot of texlive-* packages. The prosper version in sid does not

Bug#469294: texlive-base-bin: /usr/bin/thumbpdf: deprecated Perl warning

Package: texlive-base-bin
Version: 2007.dfsg.1-2
Severity: minor

Hi,

debiandoc2latexpdf uses thumbpdf which always warns:

defined( <at> array) is deprecated at /usr/bin/thumbpdf line 816.
(Maybe you should just omit the defined()?)

thumbpdf is Perl code and contains indeed a defined() in line 816. Could
you please check whether it is save to remove it?

No, sorry, we cannot. The TeX Task Force is too low on manpower to be
able to do that. Either you do it yourself and provide a
(backwards-compatible) patch, or you ask the upstream author for help
(Heiko Oberdiek IIRC).

Bug#469437: lmodern: New upstream version: 1.106

Package: lmodern
Version: 1.010x-4
Severity: wishlist

I would appreciate if you would package version 1.106 of Latin Modern fonts.

Note that that the .otf files have been renamed, as well as PostScript Type1
internal font names together with all the map files.

Best wishes,

	Gábor Braun
