I'm not sure, but can't you recompile the kernel with 64 bit support
and that'll do the trick?

It is not enough. In order to profit all the AMD 64 bits architecture
power, all programs for which a 64bits architecture can improve them have to be
compiled for such architecture.
Examples of such programs are MySQL, PovRay, lame or memencoder, and SSL
encryption.

So... I installed it on GNU/Linux!

Sobre a ajuda on line do site

Gostaria de saber aonde posso baixar o manual de instalação no formato de 
documento, para que eu possa imprimir para ler, pois nem sempre posso estar 
online na internet.
