Bug#648378: notification-daemon: Update to my comments

Package: notification-daemon
Followup-For: Bug #648378

Dear Maintainer,

Update: removing notification-daemon and instead installing the xfce4-notifyd
daemon instead has fixed this for me.

I wonder if the problem may in fact be due to the interaction between
notification-daemon and the XFCE notification area, rather than a bug in
notification-daemon?

Bug#709503: gnome-keyring: please enable daemon autostart in xfce & lxde

Package: gnome-keyring
Version: 3.4.1-5
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,
Task-xfce-desktop recommends network-manager-gnome, while the latter
recommends gnome-keyring. So usually xfce users have gnome-keyring installed,
but it doesn't autostart by default. You can search in internet (WARNING:
gnome-keyring:: couldn’t connect to: No such file or directory) and find that
there is a lot of users affected by this problem.

The usual way to fix the problem is to edit parameter "OnlyShowIn=GNOME;Unity;"
and add "xfce;lxde;" in file /etc/xdg/autostart/gnome-keyring-pkcs11.desktop.

Bug#687596: vino: CVE-2012-4429

Control: tag -1 patch

Hi,

The following commit from upstream fixes this issue:
https://git.gnome.org/browse/vino/commit/?id=9c8b9f81205203db6c31068babbfb8a734acacdb

Could you please fix it in sid, and in squeeze and wheezy via SPU?

Thank in advance.

Cheers,
