Bug#376204: file command mis-identifies MS Publisher file as MS Word doc

Package: file
Version: 4.17-2
Severity: minor
It is as the subject says. Not a surprising mistake; according to
filext.com, Publisher files begin with hex "D0 CF 11 E0 A1 B1 1A E1 00
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00", while Word files begin
with "D0 CF 11 E0 A1 B1 1A E1".
I should mention that I can't guarantee that what I have is actually a
publisher file. There appears to be no linux program capable of reading
Publisher files, and I don't have a binary/hex viewer to check the magic
myself. But OpenOffice will not open it, so I have no reason to believe
otherwise. If you want further info, or a copy of the .pub file, I'll be
happy to help.
