The problem is with this image:
www.howtoforge.com/themes/htf_glass/images/bg_header_bottom_left15.png
It is 10.000 pixels wide (very ugly hack). It is a "bug" in the page
(I'll try to report it to howtoforge), but gecko shouldn't have any
problem displaing it (less than a megapixel).

And I think it _is_ a security risk, as it could lend to a DoS as
reported above.

Bug#758574: xserver-xorg-core: Xserver crashes during initialization of XDMCP session

Package: xserver-xorg-core
Version: 2:1.16.0-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

it is not possible to use X server as XDMCP client. Running:
root <at> Terminal:~# X -query <server>
.... leads to crash during session initialization.

<server> is properly set workstation with working XDMCP protocol.

Looking to problem I'll find that there is announced WARNING (BUG_WARN_MSG)
in function vpnprintf in log.c, but later it is evaluated as fatal error.

My suggestion:
This problem occurs when character sequence "%*" occurs in input string,
where "*" is any character not known as print directive.
I think it can be solved sending "%%*" sequence to output string.

Regards,
  Pavel
