2.3.1 released

Hi,

I have finally found some time to release 2.3.1. This is now the current
stable (and recommended) version. The only major additions from the
2.2.x branch include (optional) support for syscall hooking under Linux
2.6. Other changes include improved Linux system detection (to locate
kernel source files) and an additional configure option (--without-dep)
which will not force building Linux 2.6 dependencies (which was
important for some package maintainers).

Many thanks to Sami Tikka and Kevin Koffler, who were really the major
contributors for the new 2.3.x branch.

2.3.2-pre1 posted

Hi,

In order to handle the new Linux 2.6 kernels (using UTRACE), a new
pre-release version (2.3.2-pre1) has been posted. This version includes the
latest patch from Sami Tikka and Kevin Kofler.
