SECOND CALL FOR PAPERS

IPTComm 2007
PRINCIPLES, SYSTEMS AND APPLICATIONS OF IP TELECOMMUNICATIONS

19, 20 July 2007
Columbia University
NY, USA

http://iptcomm.org

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: February 28, 2007

While standards and products now support PSTN-equivalent services for voice, video and text over IP,
there are significant difficulties in deploying large-scale, reliable and secure IP
telecommunication systems. Services that go beyond basic call features remain hard to develop and deploy.

The aim of the IPTComm conference is to serve as a platform for researchers from academia and research labs,

Questions about policy rule's ldap direct ory mapping

Hi all,
In rfc3703(Policy Core LDAP Schema), there is a policy rule Rule1 with one rule-specific condition CA and
one rule-specific action AB as following:
                    +-----+
Rule1

              +-----|-   -|-----+
    +-----+
      * *
      * *
   **** ****
   *       *
              v    *       *    v
            +--------+   +--------+
            | CA+ca  |   | AB+ab  |
            +--------+   +--------+
                          +------------------------------+
LEGEND:
***** DIT containment
   +   auxiliary attachment
----> DN reference
                          +------------------------------+
In the above, ca and ab are auxiliary classes which represent policy condtion and policy action
seperately, and, CA and AB are structual classes which represent associations between Rule1 and ca, and
between Rule1 and ab.

Could anyone tell me what's the Policy Object Hierarchy in ldap directory for the example above?
Especialy, how CA+ca is represented?

Thanks in advance!

standards, development, systems integration, service
provider, and user communities. NOMS 2006 will present
up-to-date approaches and technical solutions for
integrated systems and services including communication
networks, host systems, enterprise applications, service
oriented architectures, and delivery of management services.
The conference provides a peer-reviewed program of technical
sessions, application sessions, tutorials, posters,
application sessions, and panels as well as vendor exhibits.

RE: Implementations of RFC 3460 or 3060

I believe that the policy WG mailing list still exists, so I am cc:-ing
to it.

Not sure I understand your question.
Those RFCs are Information Models. You need to map that onto some
data model, like the mapping of 3060 to LADP as in RFC3703.

                Call for Papers
           Symposium on Mobile Computing

                 June 13-16, 2005
  Technical Sponsorship: IEEE TCCC, TCPC, and SSCTC

Recent years have witnessed an enormous growth in the development
and applications of mobile computing environments and devices.
Many practitioners envision a future empowered with context and
location aware computation and communication infrastructure that
allow users to access data and receive service at any place and
any time. Compared to conventional platforms, the mobility of
computing nodes introduces many challenges to the design of almost
all systems components.

This symposium will foster a forum for discussing and presenting
recent research results on mobile computer systems. Original
papers are invited in the broader area of mobile computing. Papers
must report high-quality and previously unpublished work. Topics
of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

-  Architecture and infrastructure support
- Middleware and operating systems services
