OPSAREA open meeting - proposal for Prague

Hi,

Until now we have received only one request for the agenda for the
OPSAREA open meeting in Prague scheduled now in the Monday Afternoon
slot I between 13:00 and 15:00. On the other hand OPSAWG who asked for
1.5 hours received a 2.5 hours slot on Monday morning (9:00 to 11:30).
We suggest to use the same morning slot for the two meetings, with the
last hour (10:30 to 11:30) dedicated to the OPSAREA open meeting. We
still have time for other agenda items, so please keep these coming.

Regards,

Ron and Dan

To our Japanese colleagues

Hi,

We have all been following the news coming from Japan in the last few
days. Our thoughts and worries are with our colleagues in Japan and
with the whole Japanese nation which was struck so badly by the
earthquake and the tsunamis that followed. In November 2009 we were the
guests of Japan and of the city of Hiroshima and enjoyed the hospitality
of our Japanese hosts who made of that event one of the best IETF
meetings ever. We also have in our area many colleagues from Japan and
their work and contributions are highly appreciated. We hope that they
are all well, and that their families and lives were not directly
impacted by this tragedy. We hope to hear news from them and see them
all at the coming IETF meetings.

Re: To our Japanese colleagues

Thank you, Dan.

I and Ray are OK. But in Japan, many city are damaged.

Internet was strongest information infrastructure for us.
Telephone and mobile phone service were temporally stopped.
After earthquake, for a few hours, we was able to use only internet
especially twitter and mail.
In Tokyo area(not bad damaged area), all traffic system were stopped.
So we walked to home for more than 4 hours. :-)

And this is Jun Murai & WIDE project message.

Thank you, again.

OPSAREA Open Meeting - Time Change and Preliminary Agenda

Hi,

The time of the OPSAREA open meeting was now changed. We shall share the
Monday morning 2.5 hours slot with the OPSAWG. We estimate that the
OPSAREA slot will start around 10:30AM.

The preliminary agenda was loaded at
http://www.ietf.org/proceedings/80/agenda/opsarea.txt. As you can see
there is still room for more items - so please step up if you plan to
bring up any items for discussion in the meeting.
