Why ASCII if the AVP definition allows for strings in UTF-8 charset
(strings internationalized)?

Last Call: draft-ietf-l2tpext-failover (Fail Over extensions for L2TP "failover") to Proposed Standard

The IESG has received a request from the Layer Two Tunneling Protocol 
Extensions WG (l2tpext) to consider the following document:

- 'Fail Over extensions for L2TP "failover" '
   <draft-ietf-l2tpext-failover-11.txt> as a Proposed Standard

The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits
final comments on this action.  Please send substantive comments to the
ietf <at> ietf.org mailing lists by 2007-01-29. Exceptionally, 
comments may be sent to iesg <at> ietf.org instead. In either case, please 
retain the beginning of the Subject line to allow automated sorting.
