Hi Jerry,

Our meeting room is located in the Park Place complex (and not in a distinct SamsungBuilding) and it is easy to get lost in the big Park Place complex. Please note my cell phone number: 949-307-3023, in case you or any member of the PWG needs assistance. Looking forward to seeing you all in Irvine!

Regards,

shah

WRT page 5 of the slides, PSX is already supported in CUPS 1.3 and

Re: IPP> IPP WG Slides for Dec. 4, 2008, PWG Meeting

Hi Mike,

Yes, you will be able to call-in throughout these PWG meetings
at the regular PWG conference number and user account (as
used in IPP WG meetings).

  1-866-469-3239

Thanks to your CUPS 1.3 support for PSX (satisfies quite well
the prototype requirements of PWG Process), so we will try to
move this spec into PWG Last Call quickly and get it approved.

If anyone needs the user account passcode, please email me
privately.

Cheers,
- Ira

PWG-ANNOUNCE> Possible modification Thursday's Face to Face meeting schedule

Because the IPP face to face meeting is not expected to require the three hours allotted to it (9:00-12:00 PST) and the afternoon schedule looks very full, we may have a discussion of the mechanism for the WIMS-PMP (MIB) WG integration at 11:00 to 12:00 PST. This is essentially the material on slide 6 of the WIMS slides.

If this represents a severe inconvenience to anyone planning to call in, please let me know.

Thanks,

IPP> PSX Implementation Details

All,

As requested, here are the PSX implementation details for CUPS:

"Support for the IPP Printer State Reasons Extensions (PSX) was
included in CUPS 1.3.0, which was released on August 13, 2007.
The CUPS implementation supports all of the PSX attributes and
values and acts a proxy for data from actual printers. The
implementation was trivial and the internal interface supports
any source of alert and state information, not just the Printer
      MIB."
